Mike,
My father was a naval aviator from 1953-1959. He flew the AD-6 Skyraider off of the carrier Kearsarge (CV-33). I talked to him about your podcast and if you are interested, he would be willing to spend as much time as you would like to talk about his time in the Navy. From all of the stories I have heard, it would make for a interesting segment.
Thanks for the great podcast.

Hey Mike,
I was an AW attached to HSL-33 (1987-92). This is a really interesting site, brings back many good memories. I did 3 West Pacs while assigned and many short cruises. We lost a bird and her crew on deployment in 1988. Seasnake 17 Never forget:CDR Pelz, LTjg Ramsdell, and a great AW and true friend AW3 William E. Martinie.
Looking at the dates I wasn’t too far behind you in the pipeline. Look foward to hearing more.
